Hair trends 2011

2011 hair trends are all about revival. With vintage and sophisticated look on the ladder you would not be looking in lot of experimental hairdos. The tag is:-  keeping it natural.

  • ·       Retro coloring dual shades and streaking last season’s  trend has moved to opposite playground of one dye. Black is in trend, but for experiments brunet is another shade you can try on enjoy red hair fantasy.
  • ·       Granny’s favorite braids are back. One single braid from lower side of head will do all the magic.
  • ·       For people who love knots. Its double knots in season. But avoid use of any accessory with them. A combination of braided knot on the top of head would look just lovable.
  • ·       Fringes side and front are in. Indian’s your lovely ‘sadhna’ cut is completely back.
  • ·       For people who love to keep hair short it is season for bob cuts. Go for feminine bob with fringes on front. If you have wavy hairs then avoid fringes and you look just impressive.
  • ·       Yes it is season of revival. So pixie crop cut in short hair is back. No more fidgeting because of long hair in fashion.

Colour Fantasy for Men’s

According to the old school of fashion men stick to darker colors. But with fast experimental changing of fashion trends new color pallets are getting opened for them to play in there wardrobe. The change came in from introduction to pastel light shades and has now been build to neon green shirts in the garb. In this fight to fashion remember to use few necessary mechanisms.

·         The best way to rejuvenate is buying bright shirts rather than the whole suit. There would be a instant jolt of energy at your workspace with these exquisite fluid colors.

·         If you are completely open to experimentation then buy bottoms of colors like dark green, blood red, orange. These colors are biggest say for coming season. Plus they make you look taller.

·         Sticking to grey is staying in a fashion rut now push the boundaries. Similarly beige makes you look old and fat both. Baby blue has always been the color for men but surprisingly baby pink is another color picking up. But color for coming season is purple and raspberry beret.

·          Brides in India wear red so why not the grooms. If u are getting married this season then stop looking at your elder bro and friends who bough cream or black shades…. Go Red, maroon. If you are bit scared then mix it with a bit of white or off white. But don’t forget even you need to look a shining ruby.

·         If you are a regular tie wearer then there is whole range in market for you. Various bright patterns and digital graphic printed in colors you never dared to wear. Buy them to let you fell grand.

·         Complementary colors might not work that good for Indian skin tones. So have a good look at yourself before going out. And yes colors are in for men but we still don’t need to pair them with same color socks

Make a note don’t be afraid embrace colors….

Fashion Blunders

A major number of people, who love to be trendy, follow the fashion leaders or pick up the latest trend moving in the market. In this process due to lack of technical knowledge, they start opting for fashion blunders. Here are some often opted fashion blunders.

·         Crocs are beach were. Yes they are comfortable but kindly note that they are larger and make or feet look abnormal.  It is ok if u were them in beaches as it solves a functional process and fits in the environment but buying costly branded crocs to move around the market is a fashion blunder.
·         Baggy look do give a very hip hop carefree attitude to you but note there is a difference between baggy garments and oversized garments. Baggy garments are a style statement because they are provided with volume at the making stage but buying oversize garment to make a speech is a fashion error.
·          Flashy belts and heavy accessorized footwear are a say for women’s fashion. But men, they look cheap even if caring a designer tag and after sometime you yourself would feel. Opes what a fashion howler.
·         Floral dresses look beautiful in summers. And if you are wearing it with your smile nothing shines as bright like you. But wearing it in a shiner textile like satin spoils the complete sunny look. More over it give your colleague a betting that you are not comfortable in it as you have committed a fashion error.
·          Socks and sandal. What’s wrong with your fashion sense? If you mind getting your feet dirty then buy a pair of light colored thin ankle socks. Socks are meant to go with shoes, not even flip flops stop making fashion bungle.
·         A tank top is basically inner were or for more description Indian’s it is an underwear. It might sometimes be bigger than a regular vest but it is always meant to be worn as an undershirt. Yes heat is cruel but why to ditch polo t shirts and V neck light weighted shirts. For athletic activities tank top is a yes otherwise keep it hidden don’t commit this fashion mistake.
·         Squeezing in small sized clothes is not going to make you look slim. In fact they result in bulges at tummy and back and make you look fatter. Start working out and maintain diet for slimmer you. Additionally I can bet they are neither they are comfortable for you nor you feel confident so avoid this fashion mistake.
·         Brown and black is an old school no-no. If any of your dear friends says you look stunning in your black suit with brown shoes it’s time to make new one.Brown shoes with a blue suit is fine, a blue suit with black shoes works well, but avoid pairing a black suit with brown shoes it’s a fashion sweat.
·         Pants should look like one stop them from getting converted into pajamas. If the hem has flare then the length should be just appropriate. Don’t let it get caught in your hells. It really looks like a lazy fashion slip.
·         Chipped nail paint. Girl is there a big personal problem or emotional drench in your life? It is better to keep your nails without paint than to give them this torture. Clear nail enamel is another solution to this fashion problem.

BRIDES 2011-2012

Dressed in red, looking graceful, her modesty, delicacy and charm speaks of her simplicity. Blush of dawn on verge of tying a nuptial knot. “Beautiful Marriage” has always been a dream for every Indian girl. Right as a kid when she sees her aunts getting ready for there’s she starts fantasizing for her moment. With entering of teenage with the first light of love these dreams start materializing in terms of her wedding dress to the makeup she would love to the place she wants’ the biggest thing of her life to happen . Marriage is not just an occasion of her life it is the part which changes her emotions, relations, priorities in life. Hence she deserves to be the princess of the day, one which would be remembered for her beauty and elegance.

It just not the color, or silhouette or the embroidery work or makeup that makes you special it is complete look and package that makes you just perfect. Every year designers work their best to make this day completely different for the bride. Here are some latest trends for brides this year.

  • Ø  Red has always been the color for brides and with it been the fashion color this year it goes perfect for the bride. Choose hues on brighter side. Maroon would be a bit out but blood red and cherry red would just suit you. But if you love to experiment you can even go with wine and bronze color this season
  • Ø  One colored throughout the dress is a bit boring. Hence mix up colors. Red and green are usually the favorites. But you are forgetting there are many vibrant colors in your pallet. Get inspired with Rajasthan brides. You can pick all possible colors. Mix matches the color of your skirt and blouse you would be a fashion model.
  • Ø  Flares, gathers and volume are in fashion. Do not go for fishcut or tight silhouette this season. Sleek and slimmer had never been an Indian bride type. They are uncomfortable for movements too. Go for fuller versions of skirts that accentuate your curves. Umbrella cuts or and full circular skirts are the trends to follow. Go for panels in your skirt. It gives   volume with length.
  • Ø  You can even experiment by adding an extra layer of fabric just below the hem giving a layered skirt look.
  • Ø  Long length is in. If you are experimental then make a four piece dress, add a koti over your blouse let it flow along with the skirt down the hem. But if you are a follower then make the hem of your blouse kiss the belt at your skirt. Mini blouses are talks of last season. A hidden elegant bride is the look for season.
  • Ø  Traditional embroideries have played a very important part in bridal dress. Unlike other apparels where fabric price constitute a major part of the costing in bridal were the cost depends totally on the surface ornamentation. Thus, your cost very well decides what work would be in your dress. But there is a huge scope to play still.
  • Ø  After kundans of last season the pearls are gaining worth in the market. If you are a spender embellish you forever dress with pearls in combination with Swarovski. If you love to glitter swarovski can be your style statement. The dress would be costly but would present you as a dazzling fairy.
  • Ø  If you are a person with fixed budget but ethnic zaree work. Bronze is the colour for this season so jump in the vintage look. For designs look in for floral and leaf patterns.  Try to avoid buying traditional paisleys and oges. Note although dabka is out of fashion but when presented with sequences it can really make the day for you.
  • Ø  If you are going for a ultra simple look then nothing works than a silk thread embroideries with katori sequence.
  • Ø  Don’t overdo the embroidery. The look for the season is simpler. Get heavy work on the hem and the belt leave the rest plain or with small grains. Similarly markets flow with heavy worked duppatta.  It’s not only hard to carry but also an extra added cost. Make a light duppata with embroidery on the edges and heavy embroidery on the crown. That is all you would need. More over the sheerness at the duppata would bring out the grace of your skirt. Go for round or keyhole necklines for blouses this season.
  • Ø  Accessories are imperative part of the gaze. Copy the trend of the royals, carry a potli bag in which the embroidery match your dress. Heavy neck pieces are a big no for this season. Were simpler neck piece with heavy long ear pieces. A nose ring is something that separates the bride from all beauties of similar age. Get a nose ring, it would illustrate rich traditions, thanks to the jewelry designers these are now available in various styles and materials and make you look more and more chic.
  • Ø  Heavy pink /red make up make you look like a artificial doll. Tell your beautician before hand to match the color with the dress and add copper or bronze tinge to it for a more elegant look. You can experiment with eye makeup but try it before your Big day. A high raised bun is what you find at most places. This can be experimented with braids this season.

And last of all the most vital thing that complete your look is your beautiful smile. So whatever you are wearing or not whatever designer label or not is at the back of your dress. Were the beautiful ornament of smile and you are all ready to walk on the ramp of marriage.
