THE SARI


If one word were to describe the unbroken heritage of Indian tradition it would be the sari. From Draupati , the heroine of epic Mahabharata 50000 years ago to bollywood, Hollywood divas of today… all have adored this marvelous one piece of clothing. The beauty of this dress is that a woman can achieve the most respectable as well as the steamy look with this piece of clothing. The way you love to carry it is all that matters. So it just doesn’t matter you are…. experimental or sophisticated, thin or fat, young or old, fair or dusky. This is a dress that would just suit you…… ALWAYS….
Although sari is an example of fashion classic; but yet with forecast coming every year and new styling getting evolved sari has various forms and modifications now. Here are some current running styles…


Colours: - The earthy tones are a say in saris now a days. Go for maroons, mustard, brown shades. Black is another color which is treasured designer pieces. If you are buying double shade for a party check our one with gold or copper sheen, silver is a bit out these days.

Lace:- Its time that you enjoy being delicate women. Laces are the most feminine surface ornamentation form. If you are girly then the intricate and delicacy of laces is the best way to define your virtue. Contrasting colors, different material, cut work lace are in this season.

Fabrics:-  Although silk and cotton on has always been a part of this classic. There are new fabrics that get introduced every year. This year try lurex based fabrics these do not require and extra shine on them. Shimmer is another fabric that has flooded market this festive season. Mixing of two fabrics is the new trend this season. Combine your favorite silk with net or ciffon. If you love to dress flirty then nothing is better than crape.

Cuts:- Last years  introduce slits in semi stitched saris although this trend didn’t get many followers this season semi stitch lengha sari is getting very well adapted.

 Trends:- There are quite a lot of new trends that are up this season. Plain sari with heavy embellished borders, net sari with flower embroidery on lower sides, paneled sari, Satyapaul has always presented the Mixed prints or graphics its time you adore it in lower prices too. 

Motif and graphics:- The peacock rage has captured gr8 amount of market. If you are going for marriage shopping you would defiantly come across this motif in print or embroider form. There is lot of stripe work that is in this season. The gujrati lehriya print is getting a say word. Floral prints have always been a part of sari but this season these do not combine with paisleys.

Blouses cut:- This season give two most extreme cuts of all time. It’s time to decide, that you are ready to expose or not. So this season either a bikny style or a kurta style in your blouse there is no mid way for fashioners…
